Hi everybody, I really hope you could help me getting eOn to work through my proxy server at work. I've left it for a few days, but its still not connecting. I've mailed Graeme a few days ago, but he hasn't replyed yet.

This is whats in the cfg file oh and I did edit it in notepad where all is in one line.

server=eon.cm.utexas.edu

Sorry for not getting back to you. I have never tried the proxy server settings. This is functionality that is included through the mithral/cosm package. I would be very interested to hear if you get this to work. You can, however, use ssh tunneling to use eon through a proxy. Using the ssh command, you can map the eon port through the ssh port on a server which has public access. If you want to try this, I'll give you the command I've used to do this.

Hi Graeme, no problem, thanks for replying here.

It's still not working, the proxy server logs does not show any attempt by the client to connect to the eOn server.

Any help to get it working would be greatly appreciated as I'm really interested in this project.
