Re: Change in Cobblestones ?

You seem to have changed the credit values to some exorbitant level. Last year it was quite reasonable for my machine, more then many other projects, but on par with as many others. I just received some new WUs after a wee pause for other crunching end December, and the average crunching time has be...

Re: Computation errors

I just had 2 that crunched too long and errored out after 13,455 seconds . <core_client_version>6.10.17</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> Maximum elapsed time exceeded </message> <stderr_txt> </stderr_txt> ]]> Usually the WUs take just a few minutes. "Wurde nicht benötigt" (Was not needed?)

I've got a lot of strange results in my account (if they are still there once you read this ;)) They have this in the WU page : Name 1711880151_1_5170 Anwendung eOn Client erstellt 1 Dec 2010 21:24:01 UTC autorisiertes Ergebnis 8565043 bewilligte Punkte 2.51 Mindestanzahl 1 Initialreplikation 1 max ...

Re: Computation errors

Most of my WUS work fine, I just got one that errored out with this message: <core_client_version>6.10.17</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> process exited with code 193 (0xc1, -63) </message> <stderr_txt> Error: size of hessian is zero. Checkpointless WUs should not swap to another project. But if you have "Keep WUs in memory" selected, it wouldn't matter anyway.

Re: Server issues?

One thing I have been thinking about is having the boinc client compress (zip) the result files (as they are highly compressible) to make them smaller and faster to upload. This would put some additional strain on the server as it would have to decompress them, but I think we are enough idle cpu ti...

Re: Problem retreiving Boinc account password

I had this problem as well, but as my team is just one to make me aware of new projects, not my real team, I just created another account, and my BOINC-wide is now just sitting there. Because this happens from time to time, my email and user name are different on BOINC-wide, so my CPID was not in da...

It works fine now, thanks.

Just one question:
Is BBCode generally off here or just for noobs and you can use it once you've posted a sufficient number of posts?
